Modern is inspired by a pure geometric form: the square. And by a simple idea: its movement in space. A module that repeats itself, developing objects that differ in materials, colours and functional destinations. Objects that differ - containers, tops - but have harmonic proportions and formal coherence. In this way an open, articulated and flexible program is born. It is devised for designing spaces through clear, elegant signs, defined by the rigor of the lines, by the fine finishes, and by design quality. This system provides maximum freedom for creating the ideal combination of elements. A presence that knows how to adapt to all rooms.

Modern + Load-It 01
An eye-catching mix of bookcase, storage element and display unit , the Modern + Load-It compositions combine the holding capacity of the Modern system with the graphic impact of the Load-it bookcase. In the foreground 3table small table and Ghiaccio armchair.

Modern + Load-It 03
The eye is catched by the geometric pattern of the Modern + Load-It wall composition, matching wall panels and steel shelves of the full-height Load-It bookcase to two tortora coloured boards and the wall-hang Modern units: an horizontal unit in Canaletto walnut with interiors in blu reale and 3 square units in heat treated oak with carta da zucchero interiors, some of the many possible matching between woods and colours of Porro palette.

MODERN TV COMPOSITION 01
The Modern tv composition on the wall exhibits a drop-leaf door module and an equipped module perfect for holding multimedia supports and a shelf and Flag TV panel. The panel can be rotated through 90° to adjust the position of the TV to suit the viewer's position. Overhead, the composition is completed by a Sidewall horizontal element which can be used as a modular bookcase or as a shelf unit to display small objects.
Finishings: drop-leaf door module and equipped module with sabbia matt lacquered finish; Flag TV panel in eucalyptus; Sidewall horizontal element with cioccolato matt finish.

MODERN TV COMPOSITION 02
Modern, Porro’s system of containers and suspended tops to furnish the living room, is available with new free-standing compact compositions allowing the units not to be compulsorily fitted to the wall, a sort of sculpture leaning against the wall or used to divide a space.
The new Modern composition with flag tv panel combines a drop-leaf door module and an equipped module perfect for holding multimedia supports, with a suspended shelf and feet supporting a Flag TV panel for flat screen. This panel can rotate of 90°, adjusting the tv position according to the watcher’s point of view. In the forefront, Ghiaccio armchairs.
