Women offer indispensable resources at a time when it is necessary to rethink our future in terms of sustainability, to shape a truly inclusive corporate environment, and to create a fair and equitable balance between the environment, economy, and society. More female employment means unleashing untapped energy, achieving the full quality contribution of both women and men to the well-being and development of our corporate reality.
To this end, PORRO S.P.A. ensures that all stages of an employee’s lifecycle within the organization—recruitment, onboarding, access to training, and career advancement, including salary growth—are based on the principles of equal opportunity, inclusion, and meritocracy. Proper reporting and monitoring systems are in place to identify and eliminate any possible misalignments.

PORRO S.P.A. has decided to adopt a corporate policy aimed at reducing the gender gap in all key areas: professional growth opportunities within the company, equal pay, gender difference management policies, and maternity protection. It is widely recognized that companies adopting a more inclusive approach at all levels create greater value, embrace a long-term vision, demonstrate higher risk aversion, and exhibit a strong sensitivity toward sustainability and innovation. For this reason, PORRO S.P.A. has decided to implement innovative systems that allow continuous evaluation of our progress and direction. By establishing a management model that ensures long-term maintenance of defined and implemented requirements, we measure progress through specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across six dimensions:
- Culture and strategy;
- Governance;
- HR processes;
- Gender-neutral career growth opportunities within the company;
- Gender pay equity;
- Parental protection and work-life balance.

PORRO S.P.A. is firmly convinced that inclusion and meritocracy are essential conditions for sustainable economic and social development. To foster a genuine culture of gender equality within our organization, the General Management has established the following objectives:
- Creating a more equitable work environment in terms of career opportunities, competitiveness, and flexibility;
- Supporting the increase in female employment;
- Ensuring gender pay equity, facilitating women's participation and retention in the workforce by supporting caregiving responsibilities, valuing skills, ensuring fair compensation for jobs of equivalent socio-economic value, and promoting economic independence (equal pay for work of equal value);
- Guaranteeing equal opportunities in skills development and talent application, ensuring equitable participation in training and development programs, including leadership courses.

To achieve the above objectives, PORRO S.P.A. commits to:
- Providing additional flexibility for employees with parental and/or caregiver responsibilities;
- Implementing governance and monitoring of diversity and gender parity within the company;
- Adopting appropriate practices for the dissemination of the Gender Policy within the company and sharing information on gender parity;
- Supporting working mothers and fathers by implementing policies and benefits beyond the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), dedicated to maternity/paternity protection and services to facilitate work-life balance;
- Promoting gender equality principles across all contract levels and introducing concepts of gender mainstreaming;
- Encouraging the use of language that fosters dialogue and helps overcome sexist expressions or behaviors.

Finally, PORRO S.P.A. prepares and shares with stakeholders a communication plan regarding its commitment to gender equality, ensuring that communication aligns with the principles of this policy and the objectives defined and implemented in the strategic plan. In its communication activities, PORRO S.P.A. pays close attention to avoiding gender stereotypes in advertising actions, ensuring periodic reviews of marketing materials and strategies, and committing to promoting a positive image of women and girls through respectful language regarding gender differences.

Within the strategic plan, objectives are identified that Senior Management, assisted by the Gender Equality Steering Committee, intends to pursue.

The suitability of this Policy is reviewed annually as part of the Corporate Management System review activities.
Responsibility for the implementation of this Policy is entrusted to the Gender Equality Steering Committee.
