Submerged into its green surroundings, this private retreat in the Mantuan countryside has been renovated focusing on the charm of its historic spaces and the best contemporary design.
Its interiors are curated by Ghiroldi Design, Porro’s dealer and point of reference for furniture and interior design in Mantua, focusing on airy and livable spaces, to compose a universe of relax in shades of white and gray, warmed up by Porro collection of woods and suggestively overlooking the park. In the dining room, refinement of details and visual impact connote Ferro, the iconic table with a sensual curved line designed in 1994 by Piero Lissoni. Made of folded and welded sheet metal, it is chosen in the sculptural bronze version, velvety to the touch.
Protagonist of the living area is the system of bookcases and equipped walls System by Piero Lissoni, in a black stained hemlock composition enlivened by the vitrine with block doors, a large sliding door in black stained hemlock and the integration of an impressive marble fireplace. The TV is housed in a grigio perla lacquered Modern sideboard, elegant and functional on the Lama base. The spaces of the distribution are the realm of Storage, Porro’s system of wardrobes and walk-in closets. From the warmth of the mongoi walk-in closet effect, to the uncontested purity of the Storage Battente wardrobe with white moon lacquered Scoop doors, that enhance the connection to the main bedroom protecting on one side and displaying on their own clothes and linen.
