In Hong Kong on the Sai Kung peninsula, interior design studio Pocket Square relies on the best Italian design to breathe new life into the interior of a three-storey private property. The home is conceived as a sophisticated retreat for privacy, relaxation and aesthetics: the dining area features Porro's imprint with Piero Lissoni's elegant Metallico table in antique red and Voyage chairs with precise lines designed by GamFratesi. Metallico's unique finishing is obtained through a high-thickness catalyzed coating, followed by manual polishing and waxing, bearing witness to the search for a not-flat color, rich in nuances and textures, capable of creating a sense of depth and shininess like the oil paintings of the 17th century. Voyage, on the other hand, is made up of an exposed framework in tapered solid maple; across it, a saddle leather covering is stretched and gives shape to a very comfortable and ergonomic seat and backrest.
