An invitation to enter and discover the intimacy of an aristocratic residence of the past centuries, changing the aesthetics of the spaces and using the stylistic figure of Italian architects among XVI and XVII century, in a dialogue between history and modernity. In this context Porro project becomes immediately recognizable for an essential language, which prefers great aesthetical simplicity and hides a game of stratifications and oscillations between present and past, expression of the company’s furnish philosophy.
The first expression of Porro’s formal cleanness, shape and function geometry reveal itself inside the Bibliothèque: an intimacy place where you can hide and explore the world, it’s defined by using a composition of the modular System by Piero Lissoni in canaletto walnut collocated on the entire room walls enclosing the ambience and the person. With the wide variety and superior quality of its finishes, System is the ideal solution to plan custom furnishing projects, since it can be intelligently adapted to create highly diverse settings complying the personality, tastes and lifestyles of who lives it. Inspired by the precision and flexible project features of fine contemporary design, the canaletto walnut composition presented, has a strong and balanced personality defining room areas in a definitive way, while improving their efficiency and appearance.
Inside the Café & Restaurant, cosmopolitan place dedicated to the sociality, endless ramifications, realize with chrome-plated rods iron, connect between them creating a complex support in harmony with the round lacquered top of the Synapsis table of Jean Marie Massaud. This iconic and sculptural table is accompanied with the exact yet soft lines of the Neve armchairs by Piero Lissoni, which reinterprets the classic wooden chair in a contemporary vein, in the natural and black stained ash version.
The elegant and precious glass cabinet Ex libris by Piero Lissoni, enriches the open view kitchen. The self-standing structure consists of black painted uprights and melamine base unit and top in “carbone” oak which contrast with the extra-light transparent glass shelves and back panels in transparent glass. The composition is closed with the “Iron” doors in transparent glass, with a metal profile painted in iron.
