Porro boosts its visibility in India with a new 2-storey showroom of about 250 square meters in the city of Mumbai in collaboration with Furnitech.
The showroom, at street level, is in the prestigious Lower Parel area of the city of Mumbai, an important hub for architects and designers, and aims to intercept the world of Indian designers and developers, who can count on a particularly varied and articulated catalog production and at the same time on the propensity to bespoke service of the brand.
The day and night settings are characterized by the high quality of the brand’s systems and collections: pure shapes warmed by the chromatic vitality of the Porro’s 18 woods and 24 lacquered colours, releasing intense notes of elegance, refinement and relaxation.
on the ground floor, the dining room is furnished with the most representative products that bear the signature of Piero Lissoni, Art Director of the brand, such as the Metallico table in burnished brass finish, the Neve chairs in black stained ash and Ex Libris bookcase-showcase, accompanied by the Galley Low sideboard by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti who opens up unveiling bright lacquered interiors.
In the central living area, a Modern - Load-it composition combines the Load-it steel bookcase by Wolfgang Tolk with a Modern TV solution in eucalyptus with suspended elements with yellow inside and glass doors, while the Kite armchairs by GamFratesi are disposed all around the Ferro low table in bronze finishing.
Next to the staircase, the Gap bookcase by Carlo Tamborini is proposed in antico red and porfido gray.
A second dining room is gathered around the beautiful Materic table with marble top and sculptural base in solid wood, accompanied by the Pioggia and Gardaupholstered chairs and the System bookcase with vertical sliding door, all designed by Piero Lissoni.
The first floor is dedicated to the night area.
Protagonist of the bedroom with its slightly suspended form the Makura bed by Piero Lissoni in light fabric, combined with a Hinged Storage composition with lacquered 32S doors interrupted by a vanity niche created with the Load-it bookcase and Modern writing desk. For relaxation, the Jade lounge chair by Christophe Pillet is displayed suspended on the wooden base, juxtaposed to the Traveller daybed by Gamfratesi in leather.
To enclose one's clothes creating a secret room in one's home, the quintessence of Porro's customization capabilities, Storage Dressing Room is declined in a large corner composition, which alternates open and closed compartments and the shoe rack with luminous inclined shelves.
At the center is the Hub central drawer unit with a leather bench, to sit and contemplate the wardrobe, the heart of the home and must-have of the Porro range.
