Porro's aesthetic and technical quality enriches the Hotel AKA NoMad, a structure with a sophisticated style in the heart of Manhattan's Design District. The elegant space is designed by Lissoni&Partners studio, which creates an oasis of peace and harmony through a series of influences from Japan to the Scandinavian world. Everything is designed to feel the experience of living at its best, so it’s not surprising that Porro furnishes the different rooms of the structure, starting with the lounge area. With their soft and enveloping shapes, Frank chairs with brass finishing and upholstered in blue velvet decorate this intimate and refined space. In the lounge area is instead protagonist the Materic table, composed of a circular top in black stained ash wood resting on a conical base in solid ash wood, also stained black. The space has a majestic staircase leading to the loft above, where to enjoy a tasty breakfast seated on Neve chairs. Seats with rigorous but soft lines feature a black-stained ash frame and black eco-leather upholstery. Porro also contributes to the furnishing of the suites with the Shin bed, presented in different sizes: king size, queen size and American double size. With its simple and refined aesthetics, the Shin bed is characterised by a structure in black stained ash wood with a black painted metal headboard and footboard, all completed by soft pillows upholstered in black rancho leather. By offering its most representative products designed by Piero Lissoni for the AKA NoMad Hotel in New York, Porro shows its interest in the contract world, where the company can offer a wide and varied catalogue, the propensity to experiment new tailor-made solutions and the ability to realize projects anywhere in the world.
