Porro's expertise comes to the City of Alexandria in Virginia, introducing a new level of sophistication and style. The AKA Alexandria Hotel is a fascinating historic building, redesigned by Lissoni&Partners studio, in which classic elements are blended with modern design. Porro products, in perfect harmony with the sober taste of the structure, have been chosen to furnishing the hotel's rooms and common areas. The meeting room, with its elegant lines and dark tones, hosts the System bookcase and equipped wall system. Versatile and elegant, the made-to-measure full-height and full-lenght wall bookcase, realised in the niche, is made of black-stained hemlock, a precious North American wood characterised by a particular veining and an extraordinary sensation to the touch. In the centre of the room a sequence of Fractal tables with a black structure and matt black lacquered top creates a single large table with a simple but functional design, while the tv area is completed by a Modern composition of boxes in spring green and moss green crystal, which add a touch of energy to the room. In the gym, illuminated by a suggestive roof light and rich in greenery, the Groove bench in black stained solid ash, thanks to its elevated horizontal board, is a perfectly functional support. In the elegant and intimate bar area, the numerous Neve chairs in black stained ash stand out, reinterpreting the classic wooden chair in a modern key.

The Guestroom suites are enhanced by the Frank armchairs in green velvet and by the soft and enveloping Frank Club seats, with a brass finishing, providing a moment of relaxation and maximum comfort.

In front of the window, the Pioggia chairs in black stained ash are upholstered in a beige colour that reflects the warm and cozy tones of the room in perfect harmony. As a support element we find the Fractal table with black painted structure and top, suitable for both work and private environments. The matt black open pore painted Offshore sideboard and the Modern light footboard in matt black complete the accommodation in the name of elegance, refinement and technological research that distinguish the company.
