Founded as an handicraft laboratory in 1925 in the Brianza area, the traditional Italian cradle of quality furnishing unit manufacturing, Porro is at present one of the reference international design company standing out for its unique capacity to select, process and interpret wood, offering a wide and accurate finish range and uniquely shaped materials, profiting from updated technologies as for matt and bright lacquers as well as for prestigious processing techniques directly evoked from the past. Thanks to a real tailoring approach to the project translated into an precious attention paid to tastes of its customers and to the capacity to manage different levels of customization, Porro managed in time to define its own style, consisting of elegance and quality, being everywhere recognised as the “system tailor” thanks to architectural imprinting structures underlined by impeccable finishes and perfect shade matching.

To celebrate its birthday, starting from the ideal of a “closet”, typical of its activity and stressing once more the company search for new materials, Porro involved all the designers who in time designed the company collections and some other special names to design a wood box collection, mixing at ease the company 16 woods, different in function and opening as well. A series of curiosities translated in “extrasmall scale” the high technical quality, matter and appearance of any brand proposal furthermore stressing the company unique capacity to follow the designer wishes but offering at the same time the widest possible number of tailor-made proposals.
