Among Porro's most successful collaborations there is the one with GamFratesi, the couple Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, whose particular approach to the design project stems from the encounter between the craftsmanship of classic Danish furniture and the conceptual process of Italian design. Born with the Traveller daybed, an iconic piece of furniture that plays on the rigorous combination of the essentiality of metal, the warmth of leather and the softness of the upholstered parts, it continues with the Voyage chair that transfers its imagination to the dining room. Comfortable and enveloping, the Kite armchair tackles upholstery with the essential and sophisticated language of Porro, leading to the Kite Sofa, the first sofa signed by the brand, where rigor and delicacy coexist harmoniously.

TRAVELLER, design Gamfratesi, 2015
Standing out for a trestle structure in black painted metal, Traveller is an elegant and original daybed. The back support is provided by side backrests in leather with a “saddle effect”, robust but softened by the presence of a mattress and two cushions covered in fabric, leather and eco-leather, totally removable.

VOYAGE, design GamFratesi, 2016
Chair with precise contours, it draws inspiration from typical 1950’s furniture, making it up-to-date. Voyage is made up of an exposed framework in tapered solid maple; across it, a saddle leather covering is stretched and gives shape to a very comfortable and ergonomic seat and backrest.

KITE, design GamFratesi, 2017
A new classic, soft but also generous, the Kite armchair is characterized by its evergreen look and its timeless charm. The metal structure is a set of curved lines into space, while the internal padding recalls the shape of an enveloping coat with a folded collar, creating an inviting arm support.

KITE SOFA, Design GamFratesi, 2018
A natural evolution of the eponymous armchair, Kite Sofa is fit for a living space with its plastic shape resembling a seashell. With its compact outline, Kite Sofa unveils its refined details to a keen eye: balanced thicknesses, accurate proportions and the elegant curve of the tubular structure that encircles its internal padding.
