Salone del Mobile Milan 2005. The value of detail

13.04.05

On the occasion of the Furniture Show 2005, Porro celebrated an important event, their 80th anniversary, by proposing an institutional space with total innovation and technical restyling, in an entirely milk-white stand, conceived by Piero Lissoni, company art director and designer of many products present.
White, as the language of neutrality, to give uniformity in the perception of the environments and not to distract the attention away from the real object of the presentation: the product in all its facets.
The central space in the exhibition was devoted to SYSTEM NXT, a composition that, despite its extreme linearity and lightness, expressed the strength of a project dated 1970 but perennially evolving and ever up-to-date.
Placed around it, various home and business environments, the latter a sector to which Porro have long devoted great attention, with the most recent evolutions of Porro Systems, HT Office and Modern, and with the new carpets by the company.
