From November 8 to 10, Porro flew to Shanghai for the second stage of the international promotion tour for Salone del Mobile 2025, coinciding with the Westbund Art&Design Fair. The fair attracted visitors passionate not only about art but also about design and creativity, and was recognized as the most influential contemporary art fair in China. Salone del Mobile.Milano chose China to reaffirm the importance of this market, promote Made in Italy, and support exhibiting companies in seizing new opportunities, as well as in their growth, development, and distribution processes in the region.

The Orbit's Orbit installation, curated by artist Matilde Cassani, featured concentric circles inhabited by iconic products that embodied the excellence of Italian design. It was hosted in the recently opened futuristic venue, The Orbit, an event space located in the Xuhui financial district and designed by architect Thomas Heatherwick. The Romby chair by GamFratesi and the Metallico table by Piero Lissoni represented the geometric purity, rich finishes, and refined craftsmanship that characterize Porro's design, appearing as sculptural objects within the space.

Conceived as a meeting point between art and design—two increasingly interconnected worlds rich in potential synergies—the installation came to life during the event through artistic and dance performances that interacted with the visitors, original performances, and a series of conversations around design.
