Within the rich autumn calendar, Porro decided to stop in Sicily on the occasion of iDesign, an event promoted by Confcommercio and Confindustria Palermo to offer a wide overview of the latest trends in the design sector, opening new growth possibilities to manufacturing and trading companies as well as to local design offices.
Aiming at launching design on the Island iDesign includes big exhibitions lasting for more than one month followed by ancillary initiatives in the week from the 7 to the 14 of October 2012: among them the exhibition consacrated to Porro inside the suggestive Sammuzzo Court, in co-operation with the local dealer, Velarredo.

Among the most internationally appreciated brands for its essential and immediately identified sign and the high quality of its design proposals, Porro introduced in Palermo its latest product proposals and some icons of its catalogue, real partner of the daily life thanks to their unique shapes.
The high sideboard Tiller in eucalyptus fitted with 4 doors to be opened one of the other, pleasantly changing the front pattern, the Inlay sideboard, made according to an accurate inlaying processing, alternating 4 oak tones with a dark profile, the white Modern unit on a Lama foot, the Shin bed with big leather cushiona followed by Balancing Boxes bedside tables, the Lipla bed with its sinuous lines together with the Truck bedside table, the black Synapsis table with an crossed base unit and the Never chairs with the rigorous lines and a catalogue classic, the Como armchairs.

With the many living and bedroom proposals for the house and the office, iDesign gave Porro the important occasion to be met by the local public and to be recognised on a territory always paying the due attention to quality design the company strengthens.
