Event for architects @ Konsepti Showroom, 24 October 2017

Porro participates in Designblok, the biggest design festival of Central Europe taking place from the 26th to the 30th of October in Praha.
One the highlights of the week is Porro’s event for architects, scheduled on the 24th of October at Konsepti show-room, renovating its layout with a new night area entirely devoted to the Italian brand: pure shapes combined with refined wooden essences and shiny metals, revealing its unmistakable mix of sobriety, elegance and savoir-faire.

At the centre of the space lives the Makura textile bed by Piero Lissoni, new interpretation of domestic warmth: lightly suspended from the floor, it has a cozy and inviting shape thanks to the sinuous and wrapping headboard and the presence of comfortable removable pillows in the grey spectrum. It is accompanied by the sabbia lacquered Offshore bedside table by Piero Lissoni, a compact and versatile accessory to furnish any ambience, and Balancing Boxes coffee tables by the Swedish Front, consisting of a series of irregularly overlapping solid wood boxes in eucalyptus.
On the wall Mirror Table by Front, the rectangular mirror with black lacquered frame and console table, appears like a door opening up to imaginary locations thanks to its reflective effects, combining poetry and functionality.

The Hinged Storage wardrobe with burnished brushed Iron crystal doors is characterized by fittings in the eucalipto melamine finish combined with wall panels covered in light blue fabric: sober, soft combinations for a French-inspired decorative mood.
The dressing room is also fitted with the Acquario central drawer unit in transparent glass with burnished brass profiles and wooden trays, completing the range of typologies to comply with any private house and elegant shop functional requirements, making Porro’s wardrobe unique, warm and inviting at the same time.
