Showroom Claude Cartier, 25, rue Auguste-Comte
Porro strengthens its presence in France through its relationship with Claude Cartier, standing-alone representative of design in Lyon, with its long-term commitment to the spreading of contemporary furnishing in the city. To the historical showroom in rue de Sala, Claude Cartier opened a new space 250 square meters in rue Auguste-Comte, where a personal selection of prestigious editors will be presented.
The double openings of the place allow introducing on the road-side a warm and modern ambience with Antonio Citterio by Flexform proposals while on the yard-side, inside a wide loft on two stores, Porro collections, supervised by Piero Lissoni.
Geometrical shapes, formal cleanness and functions of Porro systems and collections define the bedroom and the living room areas of the Lyon loft, including armchairs, upholstered units and accessories by many international brands.
In the central living room area, elements and tops of Modern system collection designed by Piero Lissoni is introduced with a sideboard supported by the Lama feet with open units in black-stained hemlock and white lacquered doors. In the living room, there is a Taac extensible Taac, designed by the young Italian designer Michele Cazzaniga, moving from a minimum of 190 cm long to a maximum of 3 meters, in the precious eucalyptus finish. A dark, extremely consistent and richly shaded wood, as the eucalyptus , was also chosen for System NXT, the modular system featuring open units absolutely perfect for any house and office as well, in a unique composition, with the 33 cm unit, closed with a sliding door and equipped with the new removable tray-drawers.
