Porro furnished Ceramica Globo stand at Cersaie, the event dedicated to big players in bathroom decor.
The stand, designed by Domenico Orefice Design Studio and characterized by strong architectural features, is divided into various environments with different colours and styles acting as a backdrop to the the brand’s new bath proposals, completed by 2 iconic pieces of furniture belonging to Porro collection: Groove bench and Neve chair by Piero Lissoni.
The board Groove in solid wood stands out for its simplicity, balance and symmetry. The seat consists of an horizontal table, raised on two supporting bending bases, fitted by a fixed joint. Groove is a unique product taking the used material into account: hemlock, a precious North American wood featuring a unique grain and an extraordinary tactile feeling, proposed in the natural version.
Neve, the chair with exact yet soft lines reinterpreting the classic wooden chair in a contemporary vein, is instead presented in black stained ash. While the support structure is characterised by a frame of slightly inclined, clear lines of various thicknesses, the roundness of the spindle legs and the slim curvature of the back and suspended seat soften its figure, making it extremely welcoming and intimate. Solid ash frame, with curved plywood seat and back.
