The setting of the Immaterial House and a conference by Piero Lissoni during the Bilbao Month.
During the first week of November, Porro design was one of the leading actors in this lively city in the North of Spain, on the occasion of “Bilbao Month Design”, the new event destined to approach the Bask public to the furnishing, fashion and graphical arts sectors.
During a month rich of events, involving the most important international brands such as Edra, Knoll and Moroso supported by local designers, Porro was the first to enter on stage during a week entirely consecrated to its own brand, among the most appreciated in the world of essential lines, easy to identify and thanks to the top quality of its design proposals.
From November 2 to November 6, the Rosita Gallery, a showroom in the centre of Bilbao, a reference in the city for top quality furnishing and the historical Porro dealer has changed into the immaterial house imaged by Piero Lissoni, art director Porro since 1989, and introduced for the first time last April on the occasion of the Milan International Exhibition. The main events during the week were the opening on November 2, at 8:00 p.m. and the conference by the Italian architect and designer, the unique master of light design, of the minimal approach preferring the removal of weight and matter to lead to quality, aesthetics pleasure and proportions in each detail, forecast on November 3, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. surrounded by the most important Porro projects.
