A new showcase for Porro design on the seaside of Beirut

Obegi Home, distributor in Libanon of Porro and of the worlds most sought after interior and homeware brands, celebrated last 1 December 2011 the opening of its all-new showroom on the suggestive seaside of Beirut, in one of the liveliest areas of the libanese capital.
Curated by the Italian architect Chicco Bestetti, who re-disegned the exhistent showroom - a magical architecture that opens with its white protruding volumes and large windows on the sea – moving from a loft style showroom to a warmer and more refined environment, to shop in a more relaxed way, the new Jal El Dib Seaside showroom dedicates wide space to Porro collections and systems for home and office.

Storage walk-in closet, Lipla bed in white leather, Jade lounge chair, Neve armchairs, Modern cupboard on lama foot, Synapsis table, Inlay sideboards, Chiku bookcase, are some of the products chosen for the set up, created for Porro by the International designers Piero Lissoni, Christophe Pillet, Jean Massaud, Front, Nick Rennie.

A rarefied melody of objects, simply suggests that a few strong pieces are more than enough to transfer the warmth of the house, the sweet nest leaving enough space to relationships and exchanges among its inhabitants.
