Porro at Milano Design Weekend

As part of Milano Design Weekend, the city’s event entirely devoted to design lovers from 14 to 17 October, in the wide two-storey spaces of Porro duriniquindici, in the spotlight some of the most peculiar pieces belonging to last years’ collections, those with the more expressive and artistic imprinting: Truffle armchair, designed in 2005 by the French designer Jean Marie Massaud, and Shadow Light lamp in both floor and hanging versions, created in 2010 by the Swedish design trio Front.

Both very particular, they will the corollary – dialoguing for diversity - of the clear and essential lines of Porro systems for day and night areas by Piero Lissoni, core-business and part of the dna of this brand, internationally re-known for its discrete and modular design with its typical Italian elegance.

Light structures in a work of calibrated subtraction, they show to the Milanes audience as “the art of living” can be translated for Porro in “the art of containing”, thus organizing the home ambiances with functionality and elegance leaving space to meetings, life, relationships and culture.
