A double appointment for Porro at Maison&Objet Paris, France's main fair event devoted to interior furnishings. The company confirms its vitality and the capacity of its products to keep in step with international trends with its presence at two of the exhibitions inside the event, by Jean Marie Massaud and Elizabeth Leriche respectively. While Massaud has chosen bright green and the fun design of the Truffle perforated armchair for the image representing his exhibition inside “NOW! Design à vivre”, Leriche has selected a multicoloured composition of Modern wall units for the “Colour Patch”
exhibition, a shock therapy against uniformity and monotony. Its modular articulation becomes a game of forms and primary colours, contrasting a wall unit structure made of solid natural hemlock wood - a precious North American wood characterised by incredibly pale grains - with hand-painted doors: hanging on the wall, it is transformed into a genuine threedimensional sculpture, midway between a work of Pop Art and an out-of-scale Lego construction.
