Recovering the ancient and precious tradition of inlay, Inlay, a dining room cupboard and a chest of drawers with 2 drawers, covered with a 3D decorations evoking a parallelepiped composition crossing in space. Optical illusion and three-dimensions, two beloved topics for the three women designers, are proposed through one of the most renowned wood carving technique, inlay, matching small wood blocks in different colours to lead to complex and marvellous shapes at the same time. Squares, rectangles and trapezes carefully cut with sharp edges lead to a geometric pattern, an intricate sequence of volumes which apparently protrude from the surface of such two home units, raised from the floor thanks to a plinths, as really rising from the floor.
The company has been willing for some time to be confronted with such a technique, a real tribute to wood, the main protagonist of its collection, then it decided to rely on the feminine Front sensitivity to match tradition and hand-made processing with a modern look.
Inlay are the result of an accurate processing, alternating 4 different natural oak colours separated by a dark profile: a sort of frame separating the different texture faces thus offering a unique unit, immediately reflecting the love for wood processing.
