Christmas solidarity for Porro products, among the protagonists of charity auctions and shows scheduled for this period.
Contemporary icon, capable of perfectly synthesizing the modus operandi and aesthetics reduced to the minimum terms that are typical of Porro and of Piero Lissoni, Spindle chair will take part to "Let’s DESIGN a better world" charity auction, promoted for the 4th consecutive year by “Fratelli dell’Uomo” association.
Two mini versions of the famous chair, aimed at a “small generation” of lovers of design, can be shopped on eBay in the section “Charity Auction” (http://pages.ebay.it/charity) from 23 to 29 November 2009, to support the campaign activated by Fratelli dell’Uomo together with Onè Respe to improve the conditions of women in Dominican Republic.

In the suggestive ambiances of Umanitaria (Sala Bauer and Chiostro dei Glicini), via S. Barnaba n.48, Milan, in occasion of “Un regalo per la ricerca” charity show, from12 to 22 November 2009 will be possible to shop the funny and colorful Truffle armchair with holes in support of the scientific research carried out by young Italian graduates at Mario Negri Institute.

At the end, also this year Porro takes part to the “il Bello che fa Bene” event, which involves the most representative Italian and International luxury companies in favour of Ai.Bi., the Association which has been fighting to recognize every child’s right to have a family in more than 30 different countries.
If the highlight of the initiative is the charity auction scheduled for Tuesday 3 December at Milan Civic Acquarium, viale Gadio 2, from 7 to 9pm, from 12 to 20 December luxury objects, offered by companies, will be also available at very captivating prices in the suggestive frame of Via Montenapoleone 6/A in Milan, as the light and resistant Spindle chair in scale 1:child.
