Set design: Piero Lissoni
Designs: Front, Piero Lissoni

Concealed behind sand-coloured curtains amid small green oases, Porro is at the Salone del Mobile with Home Reloaded, an open-plan villa designed by Piero Lissoni in which everything, from the carefully-styled details down to the elegant interplay of geometries and colours, reveals the clear yet subtle design philosophy of the brand, and of its top designer.
With a general vision that goes beyond the individual pieces, the idea of a fully-furnished home begins to emerge. There are two dining rooms, a bedroom, two living areas, an indoor garden, a home office area and two dressing rooms - no longer purely functional but seen as a holistic space to be dedicated to personal wellbeing.

The common theme linking the rooms is the interplay of solids and voids, and the use of natural materials and colours: dove-grey on the walls and light grey on the floor, softened with the addition of rugs, eucalyptus - the most recent variety of wood to join the Porro catalogue - expressive and enveloping with a sensation of intimacy and a lived-in feel - and brushstrokes of yellow, orange and green that inject a burst of colour to the shades of brown and cream. Complete settings in which the Porro icons and the new pieces merge together to form a harmonious whole.
