As of September 2013, Porro will introduce its collection in Singapore’s Dream Interiors’ showroom, who, since its founding in 2006, has been representing the island’s cutting edge style and design. The company’s best sellers, along with the top brands in contemporary European design have a place within the bright showroom that is more than 1400 sq. m., where 5 day and night areas dedicated to Porro’s design is accompanied by Piero Lissoni’s Living Divani upholstered furniture. In the dining room, the curvy contours of the Synapsis table with black stained hemlock top and intertwined chromed steel rod legs is surrounded by Neve chairs and armchairs in black-stained ash with leather cushion and Inlay chest of drawer in inlaid oak. The Ex-Libris bookcase with glass sides and back and internal lighting separates it from the living area, where a Porro fitted wall combines the Load-It bookshelf with steel shelves and avorio wall panels to the avorio board and to the Modern system’s eucalyptus suspended shelf and container wall unit. Playing the leading role both in the day areas and in the sleeping areas for its wardrobe system, open wardrobes and Storage closets by Porro, offered in 3 large compositions: a wardrobe with mongoi interior closed by Iron door in transparent glass with a metal frame, finished with an iron effect, a walk-in closet in “carbone” oak and black support pillar resting upon a glass back wall and a wall closet with Scoop door in avorio-colored glass and interior in “cenere” hemlock. One breathes the refined and relaxed atmosphere of the Porro house, even in its details, like the white leather Jade lounge chair with black walnut x-base, the Reflection mirror, the vertical Sidewall bookcases in flashy colors and the Balancing Boxes container table with superimposed boxes in solid Palissandro Santos wood, for a for a minimal but expressively rich context, quite pleasing to live in.
