2013 - The new look of the company showroom

26.09.13

Porro's company showroom has modernized its showcase at its Montesolaro location. Luminous, but at the same time cozy, it is a space where dimension and light interact with the greenery of the surrounding park; a presentation where the brand's latest creations are offered in settings including living and sleeping areas, as well as the office.

In the first dining setting, the black table Metallico integrates well with Gentle chair's two-tone flexibility and with the inherent elegance found in the Groove bench, made from black-painted hemlock.  Defining the area – lit up by the Shadow Light lamp – is Tiller, a low madia, which thanks to a special hinge, has eucalyptus flush sliding doors; and a new creation for 2013, two Mikado containers for the living area which are enclosed by a double row of wooden slats, inclined and slightly offset, that give a glimpse of the interior contents in a striking game of “now you see me, now you don't!”.

In the first bedroom, the Lipla bed in white leather is displayed with Balancing Boxes santos rosewood nightstands, and surrounded by the carbon-black oak Storage Air wardrobe, two Mirror Table mirrors and inlaid chest of drawers, Inlay, with its 4 different shades of oak.
The effects of natural nuances and organic forms distinguish the dining room where the Synapsis table, with its interlaced base, combines with the Neve chair seats made in white-painted ash and upholstered seats and backs, and the Inlay madia with inlaid oak; while the crystal side and bottom version of the Ex-Libris bookcase is displayed.  The environment is completed by the Shadow Light chandelier and by the vibrant colors of the Sidewall swiveling bookcase.

A second dining area differs itself in its darker shades that enhance the Synapsis table, in its round version, surrounded by the new Garda armchairs, made from an ash base that is painted black and upholstered in brown leather, and the tall Tiller madia, raised on elegant legs.
In the next living area, a fitted wall combines steel shelves and ivory wall panels of the Load-It bookcase with the ivory platform, to the floating shelf, to the cabinet containers and eucalyptus Flag panel of the Modern system.  Next to it, a relaxation area arises that plays upon the minute forms of the Ghiaccio black-painted ash armchairs with black fabric and with new 3Table adjustable tables, distinguished by oval, square and round surfaces.
The next environment tells the story of a home-office space, where the soft firmness of the Neve armchairs, made from black-painted ash and upholstered in black leather, gather around the extendable Taac table with eucalyptus veneer.  On the wall is the System eucalyptus bookcase, with random backs in sulfur yellow opaque varnish, personalized by an Iron sliding door in smoked glass and by drawer trays in hemlock, either natural or black, next to which are two Modern sulfur-yellow cupboards.

In the last living area is a Modern tv unit that combines a modular unit with a folding panel in sand-colored varnish and a modular unit equipped with a TV Flag eucalyptus panel that can rotate 90°, complemented at the top by a Sidewall horizontal cabinet in chocolate varnish that functions as a modular bookcase or display case for small items.  The area is then enriched by low square Modern eucalyptus benches in sand-colored varnish, the low Ghiaccio armchairs made from black-painted ash and mélange brown fabric, and by Showcase Tables in black and sand varnishes.
Approaching the sleeping area, one can find an area dedicated to studying, created using steel shelves from the Load-It library together with Modern eucalyptus floating shelf.  In front of a first dressing room, protected by new Shift sliding doors open upon the Storage area: the Porro storage system of wardrobes, open wardrobes and walk-in closets.  In the bedroom, the Shin bed is accompanied by two white Offshore nightstands and surrounded by wardrobes with new Riff swing doors that have no handles.  The area finishes with a walk-in closet distinguished on the left by a large angular mongoi unit; the first side is reserved for lit shelves inclined for shoes, the second side benefits from a new angular solution, while the third side shows two closed modules with Iron doors in transparent crystal with a metal profile painted to give it the effect of iron.
