For the 2022 Design Week Porro renews the ambiances of its Milanese home by composing architectural systems and furnishings, balancing textures, materials and shapes, blending elements into a visual unicum, thanks to Glide sliding partitions: the new essential ingredient of Porro’s project as well as the connecting link, where traditional settings are expanded and reshaped in a new way. INTERNI DESIGN RE-GENERATION UNIVERSITA’ DEGLI STUDI DI MILANO, VIA FESTA DEL PERDONO 7 MILANO Common roots, shared passions, transversal visions: on the occasion of the FuoriSalone, Porro goes beyond its own boundaries by meeting the unprecedented project’s view of the architect, urban planner, designer, decorator and artistic director Andrea Branzi. Pure geometric shapes are dressed in color in the installation curated by the designer within the Interni Design Re- Generation exhibition and realized by Porro: a large 14-meter long bookcase that becomes an abstract landscape where matter is the mental space to carry on a reflection on the world. A collaboration, which follows those started in the past with other great masters of design such as Bruno Munari and Alessandro Mendini, where knowledge and sensitivities merge in a free and experimental creative process. ELLE DECOR DESIGN FOREVER PALAZZO BOVARA, CORSO VENEZIA 51, MILANO The quality of the Porro project is also protagonist in the Design Forever exhibition curated by the Calvi Brambilla studio for Elle Decor Italia dedicated to timeless design, in the evocative setting of Palazzo Bovara. On display the Ferro table, designed by Piero Lissoni back in 1994, with a sensual curved line, rounded edges and wide radius connections: a visual icon with a light aesthetic, still capable of emanating an innate elegance even today. Chosen also the Brina stool by Piero Lissoni, created in 2019 as a higher version of the Neve chair, releasing Porro's savoir-faire in woodworking.
